something to ponder...

'Momentum – The speed or force of forward movement of an object or a quantity that expresses the motion of a body and its resistance to slowing down. It is equal to the product of the body’s mass and velocity. Or (perhaps more accurately, the death of Messiah.)'
- David Crowder

I didn't understand this quote at first. But now that I had it explained to me I like it. God is always acting in this world to bring it back to the way things were supposed to be.

That's exactly it! I see it like this: when when Adam sinned and screwed everything up it started the ball rolling. God had created us to be in relationship with Him; when he ate that fruit he built a wall between God and man. Jesus had to die to break down the wall, it was inevitable, the momentum was to strong. I ask the question in my mind over and over, "why did you have to die for me?" I don't feel worthy, but then I look at this and remember. God set up the system . He created this ordered chaos we live in. I can not wrap my mind around why a God, who lives outside of our understanding and limitations, chooses to work in our tiny little realm. But this is why I love Him. He had to die to bring us back to Himself. There isn't a day that goes by that we shouldn't thank Him, and stand in awe of that fact.
